Visit To Grandpa and Grandma's

Posted on 4:06 PM by Unknown
The Saturday after Christmas we drove up to Grandma and Grandpa's for a visit. They live in Utah about 6 hours away. We left at 4 in the morning. Mike drove separately in his car because he had to go back to work before I planned on going back to California. The kids were really good in the car. I had to stop a couple of times for potty breaks but I had the froggy potty in the car so I just pulled off on the exits, let them go, dumped it, and then got back on the freeway.

When we got to the grandparents house there were many presents waiting under the Christmas tree. The kids were so excited. That day Rori and I went shopping, Andy and Tia dropped off Major and Legend to play and to spend the night, Mike and Grandpa went to Cal Ranch to check out the guns, we played at the park, we watched many movies. It was fun-filled!

Playing With Their Loot

Posted on 7:09 PM by Unknown
The kids had so much fun with their Christmas presents this year. I still can't bring myself to put their new toys away so our family room looks like it's the toy room.

More Christmas

Posted on 7:08 PM by Unknown
The kids all got new baseball gloves, balls and bats for Christmas. They had fun playing with daddy.

I didn't get Michael's picture hitting. I'll get it next time.

The kids went out front to play with their stomp rockets. Stomp rockets are so much fun and so inexpensive! Look them up online if you don't know what they are. My kids love it!

Naptime the kids insisted on sleeping in the tents. Only Jaileigh and Anthony lasted. The other three moved out onto the couch and the floor.

Merry Christmas From All Of Us

Posted on 11:10 AM by Unknown
Jake and Michael were the first to wake up Christmas morning. I woke up at 4:30 and lay there waiting for the kids to wake up. I was so excited! When they got up they came and got me then wanted me to turn on the TV in the loft. I went out and sat on the couch with them. I told them it was Christmas and asked if they thought Santa had been there. They were more concerned about if Kookaburra (our elf) had been there. I asked them if they wanted to run downstairs to check. Jake immediately ran down but Michael said, "Nah, I want to watch Caillou first." haha! When the saw what Santa brought Caillou was quickly forgotten. They quickly figured out that Santa was way cooler than Kookaburra. They were so excited.
